Based out of Dallas, Texas, the Dallas Mavericks are a basketball team that plays for the NBA, in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. The Dallas Mavericks are a very strong basketball team and they were the last champions of the 2011 season. The Mavericks aren’t a very old team, as they only started playing in 1980. Today, the team plays its home games at the American Airlines Center.
