The 2010 NCAA Tournament bracket and final seedings were released during CBS’s Selection Sunday telecast on Sunday, March 14th. The Kansas Jayhawks were the #1 overall seed in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, with the Kentucky Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils, and Syracuse Orangemen being the other named #1 seeds. The UCONN Huskies and North Carolina Tar Heels will be participating in the 2010 NIT Basketball tournament after being #1 seeds in the 2009 NCAA Tourney.

The Selection Committee did no favors for Kentucky or Kansas. I'm not ready to go so far as to say there is a Big East / ACC bias, but it makes one wonder.
